holopopomo day 4: message to the man

So here we are.
Today’s Horribly Local Poor Poetry Month (HoLoPoPoMo) entry is written from a more rebellious point of view:

message to The Man

Your tie does not fool me
For I am not fooled
You can smile all you want
My emotions have cooled
The grey at your temples
Does not mean you’re wise
You’ve only grown older
And weakened your eyes
The clay you are made of’s
No different from mine
Despite your delusions
I don’t buy your line
And when you start falling
As everyone falls
You’ll look up at me
As I kick in your balls

The end.

Yes indeed. Welcome to me.

  1. I had no idea you were a member of the Wu-Tang Clan. Past experience has taught me that this organization is not one to be taken lightly; doing so could cause a "ruckus." In addition to their never-ending struggle against The Man, they're also savvy financial planners and investment brokers. Holla.
